This page explains how we decide what to publish about Grand Theft Auto VI and how we label it.
The three labels
| Label | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Confirmed | Stated by Rockstar Games, Take-Two Interactive or a platform holder, such as Rockstar's own GTA VI page. We link the source. |
| Reported | Credible reporting or store-listing data without an official statement. We name the outlet and what remains unproven. |
| Rumour | Unverified, anonymous or contradicted claims. We list them only to explain or debunk. |
| Not announced | A question with no official or reliable answer yet. |
Source rules
- We prefer primary sources: Rockstar, Take-Two, platform stores and rating boards such as PEGI.
- Where outlets disagree, we say so and do not pick a winner silently.
- We never reproduce leaked files, and we do not link to them.
- Prices are shown only when seen on a store or reported by named outlets, and we date them.
- Estimates are labelled as estimates.
Updates
Every guide shows a last-verified date. When facts change, we update the guide and log it on the news page. Substantive errors are recorded on the corrections page.
Independence
Advertising and affiliate relationships do not influence ratings or recommendations. See the affiliate disclosure.
