Most GTA 6 leaks are unconfirmed. Rockstar confirmed a major network intrusion in September 2022 and Trailer 1 leaked before release, but claims like 700 enterable locations, a later disc version or a PC date are rumours until Rockstar says otherwise.
Key takeaways
- Real leaks: the 2022 intrusion and the Trailer 1 leak.
- Rumours: feature counts, county lists, disc version, PC date.
- Rule: nothing is Confirmed without an official source.
- Never download leaked builds or "free" copies.
What is the difference between a leak and a rumour?
A leak is genuine material that was not meant to be public. A rumour is a claim with no proof. Both can be wrong. We rate each claim using the labels in our editorial policy.

How to judge a GTA 6 leak yourself
- Find the source. Is it Rockstar, a platform holder or an anonymous post?
- Check dates. Old leaks resurface as new ones.
- Look for AI fakes. Generated images and trailers circulate as "leaks".
- Wait for two independent sources before treating something as Reported.
Should you look at leaked material?
Leaked builds can contain malware and spoil the story. We do not host or link to leaked files.
Is GTA 6 cancelled?
No. Rockstar and Take-Two have both repeated the 19 November 2026 date. See the delay history.
