How do you pre-order GTA 6 in the UK?
Rockstar's site shows a "Pre-Order Now" button and names the platforms as PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. Prices in the UK have been reported by several outlets, including TechRadar, The Scotsman and OpenCritic. Use the platform store or a UK retailer, and compare before you commit.
Pre-order options compared
| Option | Reported UK price | What you get | Status |
|---|---|---|---|
| Standard Edition | £69.99 | The game, with pre-order bonus | Reported |
| Ultimate Edition | £89.99 | The game plus an exclusive collection of items tied to Jason and Lucia's story | Reported |
| Collector's Box (Rockstar Store) | Not stated | "The Vice City Collection", listed on the Rockstar Store | Not announced |
Rockstar's page describes the Ultimate Edition as "an exclusive collection of items threaded across all aspects of Jason and Lucia's story", but does not list a price or full contents. See UK price for the sources behind each figure.
What is the pre-order bonus?
Rockstar says pre-ordering unlocks the Vintage Vice City Pack, "unique benefits that flash back to when the neon burned brightest". Rockstar's media page shows a Vintage Vice City Pack with a 1955 Vapid Stanier and outfits and hairstyles. Reports also mention a deadline and a month of GTA+ for digital pre-orders. Confirm both on the store page before you rely on them.
Digital or physical?
Reports say physical copies contain a download code rather than a game disc. That removes the main reason to prefer physical, apart from retailer deals and gifting. See digital vs physical.
Your rights when you pre-order in the UK
GOV.UK explains that you normally have a right to cancel online purchases within a set period, but digital content has exceptions once you start downloading with your consent. Rules vary between a physical delivery and a digital purchase, and platform stores publish their own refund terms. Read the terms before you pay, and see GOV.UK's online shopping rights.
Avoid pre-order scams
Fake keys, "early access" downloads and cheap off-platform sellers all target GTA 6 buyers. See our scam warning before buying from anyone you do not recognise.
How we handle affiliate links
We may earn a commission when you buy through marked links, at no extra cost to you. We list a price only when we have seen it on a retailer's own page, and we show the date. See our affiliate disclosure.
